The questions guests ask most before confirming a mammal safari in East Africa.
June through October is the classic dry season across Kenya and Tanzania, wildlife concentrates around water and sightings are more predictable. The Mara's migration broadly runs July to October, and Tanzania's Ndutu calving season falls between January and March. Gorilla trekking in Uganda is best in the drier windows of June to September and December to February.
